I’m so lucky to be part of Mews Art Studio. It’s an exciting place to work and I’m inspired by the talented ladies who I share the space with. Mews Art Studio is where I create all my jewellery collections as well as Teaching Jewellery Making to Adults.
As you read this we are transforming our working studio into a gallery space where we’ll be exhibiting work from 14 artists as part of Brighton’s Christmas Artists Open Houses Festival (AOH). You may have read my earlier post about the article I wrote for AOH?
If you live in or near Brighton and Hove then I openly invite you to pop along to our Artists Open Houses event. Full details below. If you’re planning on coming along I’d love to hear from you so please leave a comment below, thank you.
Come for a ’behind the scenes’ look at our working artists’ studio.
Under one roof we will be exhibiting a wide range of ceramics, from the sculptural to the functional, prints and original paintings; greeting cards & gift wrap, silver and enamelled jewellery; upcycled jewellery made from magazines and books.
There will also be music, talks, teas and delicious cakes.
Resident artists: Amanda Taylor, Banu Bal, Cat Lawrence, Charlotte Axworthy, Elizabeth Anne Norris, Helen Lucas, Kathy Laird, Soreh Levy, Zoe Clare.
Guest artists: Crowns from Ashes, Gosia Giec, Mann and Moon, Moon Jung Munson.
