Gem of the Day – Nicole Ferguson

Today’s Gem of the Day is this sleek contemporary enamelled ring by Nicole Ferguson. Nicole has created a great effect using transparent blue enamel over the textured sterling silver surface. There is not much I can say other than it’s been beautifully handmade and I want one!

Nicole has been designing jewellery for over 10 years. She started out as a jewellery apprentice for well-known company in Orkney (a small group of islands just north of Scotland) and since then has worked with fantastic jewellers in both Orkney and Aberdeen. Nicole has now set up her own business in Aberdeen as well as having her online shop.

Who’s been my ‘gem of the day’ before? Which has been your favourite so far? Please leave a comment below. I’d love your feedback.

  1. Aw, thank you so much for doing a feature on me – I love it!
I’m actually working on making some new, contemporary rings in unusual shapes, so feel free to check back often.

I love your shop too – keep up the good work! 🙂
