I just want to touch these textural autumnal brooches by Renee. The application of enamel on copper is so unusual but works for me. I love the experimental nature and colours of these pieces. Renee Clothier is a teacher in New Zealand ladies and gentleman but as you can see she has other skills too !

  1. Thank you so much Elizabeth for the kind feedback. As a relative newbie in the jewellery making journey most of my pieces are indeed experimental, but I think that adds to the “one-of-a-kind” nature of each one.

I also really enjoy using recycled materials such as copper from spouting used in houses, as I have here with these autumn leaves.

    • Your experimentation is working so keep at it. These brooches are lovely. I also like your upcycle attitude… Reuse, recycle and make found objects more beautiful.
