Jewellery Classes in Brighton

 

I teach one to one jewellery classes in Brighton at Coachwerks, Hollingdean, Brighton and have a brand new jewellers bench especially made for purpose. Coachwerks is sandwiched between Ditchling Road and Lewes Road.

Most classes are booked on an ad hoc basic and would suit complete beginners or jewellers with some experience who would like guidance with a jewellery project and who’d like to use equipped jewellery workshop facilities.

If you are complete beginner and would like to have a taste of jewellery and silversmithing sign up for my 3 hour introductory course. Learn silversmithing and jewellery skills and make your own silver ring to keep. One to one learning, in my experience, is the very best way to learn:

• Maximise the use of your time by having the full attention of the teacher at all times.
• Learn at your own pace in an enjoyable relaxed environment.
• Learn basic metalwork skills: sawing, filing, drilling, annealling, bending, soldering, finishing, polishing.
• There is no fixed syllabus so you develop skills according to what you want to design/ make.
• Design and make a silver ring exactly as you want.
• Book classes when you are available.
• Notes for basic jewellery and silversmithing techniques included.
• One pack of saw blades included.
• PL insurance included.

Arrange classes as and when you require – morning, afternoon, evening and weekend slots available to suit most people. 

Tools provided but all materials will be added (at current market rates) to class fees. Ample free parking.  Come and have a look before deciding.

My 3 hour introductory course is just £45 (£15 per hour).  There is no obligation to continue after the initial 3 hours of classes.  Payments can be made by cash, cheque or paypal only.
